We have been offered 20 places for The Techpreneur’s Awards for Women in the House of Lords on 7th Feb, at a special price  of £28 to members of The University Women’s Club (instead of £90)

This annual event (which dates back to 2014) was created by Fiona Scott Lazareff, former member of   the University Women’s Club. The objective is to encourage women to fund their own startups and to celebrate women who have already succeeded in doing so.  There will be a live pitch from six finalists who have been selected by a panel of well-known judges from more than 40  entries, and the whole event will be washed down with champagne and canapés in the beautiful Peers’ dining room, (which is rarely open to the public), by kind invitation of Lord Marks of Henley-on-Thames.

This will be an exciting evening and a great  networking opportunity with over 150 people attending,  including angel investors, Founder/CEOs and journalists.

The prizes are being given by Eleanor Mills, Editorial Director of The Sunday Times and editor of its magazine,  who champions the empowerment of women in all walks of life.
