Step through the French windows of the Dining Room and you find yourself in one of Mayfair’s quieter surprises: a two-tiered terraced garden, sheltered and green, with a large London Plane tree casting dappled shade across the lower terrace and the gentle sound of a water fountain in the background.
It is the kind of garden that makes you forget you are in the middle of one of London’s busiest neighbourhoods — which is, of course, exactly the point.
In warmer months, the garden also comes into its own as a natural extension of our private events — a beautiful setting for welcome drinks or canapés before guests move through to the Dining Room, Drawing Room, or Library. Weekend availability makes it a particularly lovely addition to a private celebration or gathering at the Club.
